Tixel Community Guidelines

👋 Welcome to the Tixel Community

We're stoked to have you here. Tixel is a place where fans help fans. Whether you're buying or selling a ticket, chatting with our support team or scrolling events, there are a few things everyone needs to follow to keep this space fair, safe and honest.

These Community Guidelines exist alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy . They're not full of legal jargon - they're a plain English version of how we expect people to behave here. If you break the rules, we may suspend or ban your account, remove listings or cancel transactions.

✅ Be Honest

  • No scalping. Tixel exists to beat scalpers, not to help them. This is why we cap prices. Don't try to get around this - we'll remove the listing and you could lose access to your account.
  • Be accurate. Only list what you have. That includes correct dates, sections, seating info, restrictions (e.g. 18+ only, standing, specific seating) and any fees the buyer will need to pay later (e.g. name change fees).
  • Be honest in disputes. If something's gone wrong, raise it to support ASAP - it's why we have the Buyer Guarantee! But please don't invent issues or try to game the system - it's not ok. We investigate everything and we're good at spotting dodgy claims.

🙌 Be Fair

  • Respect the buyer/seller deal. When you hit "Confirm" on a ticket purchase or Auto-Purchase page, you're agreeing to buy that ticket - either right then or as soon as one becomes available. Changed your mind? No worries, you can always relist it on Tixel. If you've sold a ticket, make sure you deliver it.
  • Deliver on time. If you've sold a ticket, get it to the buyer fast. Ideally, within 24 hours - sooner if the event is coming up.
  • Refunds and cancellations. Buyers, you're covered by our Buyer Guarantee. If your ticket isn't delivered or there's an issue (don't stress - it's super rare), we'll step in to sort a refund after reviewing the case*. Sellers, if you go quiet or don't deliver the ticket in time, we may cancel the sale or reverse your payout.

* Buyers must provide evidence of any issue within 48 hours of the event ending. This helps us protect good sellers from false claims.

🔐 Be Safe

  • No dodgy behaviour. That means no spam, scams, bots or misuse of personal info. If you're found doing this, you'll be banned. No warnings, no second chances.
  • No account sharing. Keep your login details private. You're responsible for everything that happens in your account.
  • Stick to the platform. Don't ask people to pay or message outside Tixel. We can't help you if you've taken things offline. If someone asks you to do this, report it to support immediately. Only payments processed through the Tixel website are eligible for a refund; anything handled privately isn't covered.

💬 Be Respectful

  • Treat others how you want to be treated. Don't abuse, threaten or harass anyone. That includes our team and anyone you interact with while using Tixel. If you're rude, aggressive or abusive, you're out.
  • Keep it legal. Don't list tickets you're not legally allowed to sell or tickets that break any event or ticket provider rules.
  • Don't post misleading content. That includes seller notes attached to your listing or any information shared in your buyer/seller chat. We'll take them down and potentially suspend your account.

👀 We're Watching

Tixel uses a combination of fraud detection, transaction monitoring and manual reviews to keep things safe. We'll step in if we see anything suspicious - and yes, that includes editing/removing listings or cancelling transactions where needed.

We also reserve the right to update these guidelines as the platform evolves. If we do, we'll publish the new version on our site.

📣 See Something Off?

If you spot behaviour that doesn't align with these guidelines - whether it's questionable listings, rude messages or anything that feels off - don't let it slide. Contact our support team straight away with as much detail or evidence as you can. Your report helps us keep the Tixel community safe and fair for everyone 💛
